Grants are available for charities in the South East of England to assist young people who are disabled, disadvantaged, ill, homeless or at risk of crime, truancy or addiction.

Extended Description

The Peter Harrison Foundation has been set up to give grants to organisations working with people with disabilities and those that are disadvantaged. The Foundation is particularly interested in supporting organisations that work with or for such people in the field of sport, education and the support of children and young people.

Key Criteria                                                                                                                                                            

The Foundation only accepts applications from the following organisations:

  • Registered Charities.
  • CASC.
  • Friendly Societies or Industrial Provident Societies.

Applications from local branches of national charities are accepted, although they should have a separate legal constitution or the endorsement of their national head office. The organisation must be located in South East England (Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, Berkshire, Hampshire and Isle of Wight).Applications are not accepted from charities based in or operating in London, but funding is considered for charities based in London for a specific project taking place in the South East.
