Grants are available for charities in England and Wales working in the fields of community action; environmental action and sustainability; overseas development; peace and reconciliation; substance abuse, addiction and penal affairs; and the work of the Religious Society of Friends.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation - Ideas & Pioneers Fund - No deadline

Grants are available to individuals and teams, including those working within small organisations, to support early development of ideas with unusual promise to improve the life chances and opportunities of individuals and communities in the UK.

 

This scheme funds small projects in West Berkshire with a maximum project cost of approx £6k

Greenham Common Trust - Reactive Grants - Deadline Friday 23rd March 2018

Since 1998 Greenham Trust has been inviting applications from local organisations for funding for a wide variety of good causes.  Deadlines have been set for applications in 2018.

BBC Children in Need - Main Grants - Deadline 16th January 2018

Grants for not-for-profit organisations that are working with disadvantaged children and young people who are 18 years old and younger living in the UK.

The Idlewild Trust - Deadline 1st February 2018

BlueSpark Foundation - No Deadline

Grants are available for schools, community groups, clubs, societies or other organisations in England to improve the education and development of children and young people through educational, cultural, sporting and other activities.

Henry Smith Charity Main Grants Improving Lives - No Deadline

YAPP Charitable Trust - No Deadline

Grants are given to small registered charities in England and Wales for work with elderly people, children and young people aged five to 25 years, people with disabilities or mental health problems, people with a history of offending, addiction or abuse, and education and learning.

Clothworkers Foundation - No Deadline

Support is available to registered charities in the UK for work in one of the following areas: alcohol and substance misuse, disabled people, disadvantaged minority communities, disadvantaged young people, domestic and sexual violence, elderly people, homelessness, prisoners and ex-offenders and visual impairment.
